The gorgeous Pie Jesu from Faure's Requiem. Originally for Soprano and orchestra, here arranged for 4 part cellos. Arrangement works both as a quartet and as a larger ensemble piece. Works best with the whole ensemble muted, or with parts 2, 3, and 4 muted.
