Description
Mozart's A Musical Joke, 4th Movement Presto, for 6 part Cello Ensemble.

Mozart's musical joke, picking on the bad composers of his day. I have left the voicing of the chords intact, so there are a few places that are "thick" in orchestration. This was intentional by Mozart. The effect is even more comical with a cello ensemble. This 4th movement is marked presto and is the finale of the work.

Originally for string quartet and 2 horns. Each part is almost a direct transcription from the original. Part 1: Violin 1. Part 2: Violin 2. Part 3: Viola. Part 4: Cello. Part 5 and 6: Horn parts.

Designed for a multi-level ensemble. Parts 5 and 6 are beginner level, Parts 2 and 3 are intermediate, and Parts 1 and 2 are Advanced
